The Mack Pack" is a bit warmer for 5-5.5" both English and western bits. Adjustment lines are included so that you can customize the width to for your bit. It's not just a bit warmer, it's a hand held heat or ice pack!
The sewing pattern includes the reusable heat/ice packets. (For heating, you may use disposable hand warmers instead.) There are also instructions for making the heat/ice packet refillable instead of sewing them shut. It's a good option in case you want to wash the packets. The fleece cover can be machine washed and dried. The packets can be heated in a microwave for 30 seconds before inserting them in the inner pockets. Make one Western size bag to use as a spur bag. Make two to sew stirrup covers. The bag or stirrup covers may be lined with fleece and are fully reversible when lined. We suggest fleece or flannel for the lining. You may also omit the lining if you prefer. You can use them as cosmetic or travel bags, gift bags, virtually anything you wish. This is a barn or garage size keeper. It may be too large for use indoors. The "Lucy's Lines Keeper" is the perfect size to help secure your lunge lines. It can also be used to hold lead lines, reins, stirrup leathers, and outdoor extension cords. The pattern can be adjusted to fit. A "lengthen/shorten" line is marked on the pattern, and adjustment instructions are given. For each keeper, you need two 10" x 5" remnants of home decor fabric and one 10" x 5" piece of fusible interfacing. You may use woven cotton for the inside. You will also need one 1" x 1" square of hook and loop tape, one 10" x 5" piece of fusible interfacing.
